Vehicle Rescue Drill
Sta 76

On Monday Oct 19th, firefighters and officers held a vehicle rescue drill for its monthly drill. Firefighters learned how to extricate victims and how to properly stabilize a vehicle and remove doors and the roof.

Structure Fire
Frankford School Rd

Early Wednesday morning, firefighters from Frankford, Dagsboro, and Selbyville were dispatched to a working structure fire. 76-8 arrived on scene to find the vacant structure mostly burned to the ground. Firefighters extinguished the fire and turned the scene over to Delaware State Fire Marshall.

Sta. 76 was alerted for a vehicle fire. 76-8 with Assistant Chief Hunter Holland arrived on scene to find a car fully involved in the driveway. Fire crews extinguished the fire and the car was turned over to the homeowner.

On Friday June 5th at 16:06 hrs Sta. 76 was dispatched for a reported school bus on fire. 76 units arrived on scene to find the school bus not on fire. Trooper 2 Demonstration

On Monday firefighters got a chance to check out the new Delaware State Police Helicopter, which is the Bell 429. Firefighters learned how to load a patient into the helicopter and was shown the basics of the helicopter.

Firefighters from Frankford Fire Co. did a joint training with Dagsboro, Millville, and Gumboro with a live structure burn and a control burn to follow. Firefighters trained on Engine and truck operations.

On the evening of April 27th Frankford Fire Company participated in a multiple Company Vehicle Rescue drill.
