Vehicle Accident - DuPont Highway and Lazy Lagoon Road

The Frankford Volunteer Fire Company, Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company (EMS), Sussex County EMS Medic 105 and Trooper II were dispatched to a vehicle accident reported serious. 76-2 arrived on scene and Assistant Chief Bryan Murray established DuPont Highway Command. Initially there were four patients requesting transport to the hospital. All patients were out of their vehicle and walking around on arrival. Command had the crew from 76-3 secure the vehicles and assist with patient care. The crew from 76-1 assisted in clearing the road of debris. A-76 and B-76 transported all patients to AGH in Berlin and A-73 remained available. DuPont Highway remained shutdown for about one hour.
