Patient thanks firemen - Frankford Volunteer Fire Company
Monday, December 12, 2005
Prior to the December meeting a recovering patient that was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident visited the firehouse. She spoke to the firemen during the meeting and expressed her sincere gratitude for "saving her life". The patient related that she experienced several extremity and facial fractures. She has gone through numerous surgeries since her July accident. In addition to the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company the patient was treated by the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company (EMS) and the Sussex County EMS. Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company's Chief (Bob Eckman) and Deputy Chief (Mark Lathbury) were the first on scene. The patient wishes to thank everyone involved.
