MVC - Gum Tree Road + Swamp Road

On Sunday August 21, 2005 at 12:46 hrs. the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched for a report of a MVC at the intersection of Swamp Road and Gum Tree Road. Due to a large number of our membership being at the Seaford Softball Tournament the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to respond with the FVFC. First out was Engine/Rescue 76-3 with Assistant Chief John Wright. Upon arrival we found a two vehicle accident with one patient and another patient wishing to refuse. There was significant damage to both vehicles. The incident was placed under control at 13:17 hrs with ambulance B-76 transporting one patient to PRMC. All units were cleared at 13:30 hrs.
