Past Chief Banks Laid to Rest - Frankford & Dagsboro
Wednesday, July 6, 2005

On Wednesday, July 6th the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company and several neighboring companies paid their respect for Past Chief Bill Banks. Bill had actively served the company for over twenty years and was an Active Life Member at the time of his passing. In addition to serving as Chief, Bill served as Chief Engineer and an Engineer for a number of years. The Frankford Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank the following companies for their assistance during this trying time: Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company, Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company, Bishopville Volunteer Fire Company and the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company. In addition Fire Police from across the county did a remarkable job and their efforts were not unrecognized. Thanks again to each of the companies above and to the Sussex County Fire Police. The family was very appreciative of each of you. There are times that you are very proud to be a part of an organization... today was one of those times for me. Thank You. Robbie Murray
